What Kind Of Different Quick Check Procedures Does Team Ryan Automotive Offer?

  • Our most popular is the No Wrench Quick Check Procedure. This covers pretty much everything that your vehicle could throw at us. 
  • Next is our Check Engine Light or Warning Light Quick Check Procedure. Everyone has heard about the parts stores performing free warning or check engine light scans… well Team Ryan does too! The benefit of coming to see us is you get a Certified Technician looking at your vehicle that is trained in service and repair, not someone that may be trained in selling parts. 
  • We also offer a specific Air Conditioning System Quick Check Procedure. This includes monitoring and recording the duct temperature along with a visual inspection of the air conditioning components under the hood.

  How Much Do Any Of The Quick Check Procedures Cost?

Nothing! Zero! These are always free to our customers.

How Long Does A Quick Check Procedure Take?

While some are very quick, these can take up to 30 - 40 minutes to complete. It really depends on how apparent the root cause of the problem is, and every situation is different. But don’t worry, we have a comfortable waiting area at every location that includes bottled water and coffee, and wifi!

What Happens After The Quick Check?

Once our certified Technician has completed the Quick Check Procedure, they will communicate the recommended next steps to the Service Advisor. This will usually be one of two things.


  1. First, if we have an obvious bent, damaged, or broken component we will recommend the replacement of these components. 
  2. Second, if the problem is not obvious or apparent our Technician will recommend a specific diagnostic or testing procedure for your concern. 

Once approved, the Technician will move forward with the authorized procedure and work until they have discovered the root cause of your concern. We will then present the recommended repairs and answer any questions you may have.


Remember, all services and repairs are approved by you, our customer before any work is performed.
